We are pleased to be recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school The school caters for pupils aged 4 – 11 with Profound or Multiple Learning difficulties including Autism. If you wish to be the Teaching Assistant to join this fantastic team you should:

This school boasts state of the art facilities, including a purpose-built outdoor area, low stimulation room and work room. The children are placed into smaller classes based on their individual needs with staff with a wealth of experience and skills. The classrooms are all different and are designed around the individual needs of the children in that group.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant at the school would be to assist the class teacher and possibly support other TA’s in the room throughout the school day. Your main duties will include helping pupils with their work, assistance in group work activities, providing a positive role to the young people to promote both academic and social progress. You may also be needed to provide alternative environment for the pupils to work to promote the pupils progress and help them reach their full potential.
Due to the school’s location in Salford it is easily accessible by car and public transport.
In addition, you will need to complete all necessary vetting checks including proof of identity, a DBS on the Update Service and producing two recent references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
