Within this role you will be required to work closely, on a 1:1 basis with pupils who require extra support within classes to reach their full potential.
- Full time SEN teaching assistant post to start in September – Initially on a temporary basis until July 2022
- Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ secondary school located on the outskirts of Bury town centre
- Pay of GBP1350 - GBP1400 per month
Both graduates or trained teaching assistants are encouraged to apply to this opportunity, however it is essential to hold previous experience working within mainstream secondary schools or have transferable skills related to working within secondary education. It is advantageous if you hold experience supporting pupils with SEN (Including ADHD, SEMH, Autism).
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and vibrant team of support staff who are dedicated to ensuring all pupils receive the highest standard of teaching. You will be supported by a highly experienced SENCO who will brief you on your responsibilities each day. As well as providing one to one support to pupils, you will also assist the classroom teacher and offer general support within lessons.
Located in Bury, the school is just a short drive from the M66 motorway. Access is straight forward to the surrounding areas and the public transport links make Manchester, Bolton and Rochdale easily accessible via the Metrolink tram and also bus routes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
