KS2 Teacher – Wimborne

Location: Wimborne
Phase: Key Stage 2
Contract: Full Time – Part Time may be available

Teaching Personnel are working with a friendly and supportive primary school who are looking to welcome a committed teacher to their team. The school is seeking someone who can inspire pupils, deliver engaging lessons and create a positive classroom environment where children can thrive.

About the Role

The successful teacher will work within Key Stage 2, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons
  • Adapting teaching to suit different abilities and learning needs
  • Supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
  • Assessing pupil understanding and tracking progress
  • Working closely with teaching staff and other members of the school team
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

What We're Looking For

We would like to hear from teachers who:

  • Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Have previous experience teaching KS2
  • Are confident delivering the primary curriculum
  • Can establish positive relationships with pupils
  • Have effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Are enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to helping pupils succeed
  • Have relevant teaching qualifications or appropriate experience
