KS1 Teacher – Year 2 – Wimborne

Location: Wimborne
Year Group: Year 2
Contract: Full Time – Part Time may be available
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wimborne, teaching a Year 2 class.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and supporting children to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons, while creating a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to succeed.

You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Teach and support a Year 2 class
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Have experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting children's learning
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Have a nurturing and inclusive approach to teaching
  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications or have suitable experience within a primary setting
