Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEN teaching assistant in the Trafford Area. The school caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and often profound difficulties across ages of 11-19. The schools secondary department has received 'Outstanding' from it's latest OFSTED inspection and has an extremely positive reputation within the local area for it's commitment to both it's staff and pupils. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to help out with pupils within a small KS3 ASC class, as well as support the school in other roles assisting pupils with sensory or physical difficulties. This would be an initial one term appointment within the secondary department of the school but with opportunities for permanent roles in either the secondary or college department.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience working with Autism in either specialist or mainstream education.
- Have a friendly personality and a desire to consistently develop.
