Burry Port £14.25 per hour ⏰ Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (No Weekends!)
Behaviour Support Assistant Required
A school in Burry Port is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing support both inside and outside the classroom, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Previous experience working with children or supporting individuals with behavioural needs is desirable, but not essential. The school is looking for someone with a positive attitude, patience, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
- Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and learning.
- Assisting teaching staff in creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
Requirements:
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service with no comments.
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register.
- Experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach.
- A commitment to supporting pupils' educational and personal development.

- £14.25 per hour
- Monday-Friday
- 8:30am-3:30pm
- No weekends

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
