Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Full-Time Role in Radcliffe (Starting September)

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Radcliffe to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support Year 2 pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This full-time role (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) offers the chance to work closely with both small groups and 1:1 with students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, both in small groups and individually
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet pupils’ specific learning needs
  • Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to support holistic student development

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (training can be provided if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
