Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an excellent SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly ASD school in Bournemouth.
The school provides education to primar and secondary aged students with an EHCP statement of Autism of varying levels with a variety of speech and language needs. There is currently a vacancy mainly working with non-verbal students. The student learn largely using play based subjects and need someone who is quite active to play games with and physically assist younger students. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice, improve or learn non-verbal means of communication, such as PECS and Makaton. Educators with these skills already are encouraged to apply.
Permanent contracts are also available for suitable candidates.
The ideal candidate must:
Have experience working with students with SEN, particularly ASD
Be comfortable working with students who are non-verbal
Be confident managing challenging behaviours
Be available during school term dates
Have a child only DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one
Daily rates- £75-95 per day.
Excellent training provided and working alongside an experience team!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
