Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEN School in the Northampton who are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with a variety of additional needs.
The role will require you to support with classroom-based tasks and work on a 1:1 basis supporting children with a range of special educational needs including.
- Learning disabilities
- Social and Emotional Difficulties
- Autism
Our client is happy to consider candidates with a passion for education or who come from the care sector.
Candidates with qualifications in Health and Social Care, Moving and Handling and Counselling Skills are also highly desired. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and passionate team.
You will also be supported by our specialist SEND Team who all come from backgrounds in education and knowledge of the current market.
The ideal candidate will:

- Be confident and willing to develop when supporting children with a range of emotional needs.
- Have a nurturing and patient manner.
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Come from a care or education background - this is however not essential.
To be accepted for this role, you must have a Child Workforce Only DBS that is registered on the Update Service or be happy to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
