We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in Milton Keynes. This role offers the chance to work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, providing invaluable support both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with SEN.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting support strategies as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.
