Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
Working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
Assisting SEN students with classroom activities and ensuring their well-being.
Providing one-on-one support to SEN students as required.
Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).

Experience:

Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of various special educational needs and how to support them.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training or qualifications in SEN support.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The work may be physically demanding at times and may require standing or walking for extended periods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
