We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the heart of Knotty Ash (L14). The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide individualised support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
  • Assist the class teacher with daily lessons, activities, and classroom routines
  • Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to encourage engagement and progress
  • Help maintain a calm, inclusive learning environment where all children can flourish

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, communication or learning needs)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or willingness to complete training
  • A patient, positive, and empathetic approach
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
