Job description

Are you a university graduate passionate about supporting children with complex behavioural needs to achieve their full potential?
Schools across Manchester are currently seeking graduates to support pupils on both short- and long-term contracts.

The Manchester Primary Team at Teaching Personnel works closely with schools throughout Trafford, including Sale, Altrincham, Chorlton, Wythenshawe, and Stretford, providing both temporary and permanent staffing solutions. If you’re a graduate looking to gain experience in schools local to you, this is an excellent opportunity to work across a range of mainstream primary settings.

We offer a variety of roles to suit your availability—whether you’re seeking a short-term placement, a fixed-term role, or flexible day-to-day work. Casual daily work as a Support Assistant offers flexibility without a long-term commitment; however, you must be available at short notice and able to travel to local schools.

Roles within schools include:

  • Small group and/or 1:1 SEN support
  • Learning Support Assistant positions

Degrees particularly sought after include:

While previous experience is desirable, it is not essential—Teaching Personnel provides a range of training courses to help you build your skills and confidence, including behaviour management and safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
