Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield, Greater London, England
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: £90.00 - £110.00 Per day
Benefits: PAYE
Job Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for early years students.
- Support children's learning and development by providing one-on-one or group assistance during classroom activities.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during indoor and outdoor playtime.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised learning environment.
- Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide them with updates on their child's progress.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years Education qualification.
- Nursery Nurse qualification.
Experience:
- Prior experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Experience in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Knowledge of child development theories and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with young children.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in leading a nursery room is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications or training related to early years education.
- First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:
- This role is temporary and expected to work full-time hours.
- The Early Years Teaching Assistant will primarily work in a classroom setting within an educational institution.
- There may be a requirement for outdoor activities and supervision.
- The role involves regular interaction with children, parents, and other staff members.
- The Early Years Teaching Assistant must adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
