Job description

Are you a Primary School Teacher who is looking for flexible work within the Knowsley area?

At Teaching Personnel, we work in partnership with multiple Primary schools in Knowsley, who actively need enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers who can work in school on a day-to-day basis to cover any absences in school. Working hgours vary from day to day, however the usual start times are from 8:30am until 3:30pm. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups, following school policies and schemes of work.

- Managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a calm and focused environment conducive to learning.

- Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

- Building positive relationships with students, promoting engagement, and fostering a love for learning.

- Collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth transitions for both students and colleagues.

- Following school policies and procedures, including marking and assessing student work.

 

What we are looking for in you:

-          Enthusiastic about education and teaching.

-          Impressive knowledge of the national curriculum.

-          Experience working as a Teacher in the UK or overseas.

-          Early Careers Teachers (ECT) and retired Teachers are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
