Job description

SEND Support Mentor – Full Time | Bristol | September 2026 Start

We are recruiting passionate and dedicated SEND Support Mentors to work within SEN schools across Bristol from September 2026.

This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are patient, supportive, and committed to helping children and young people with additional needs thrive both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people preferred
  • A caring, resilient, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Full-time availability from September 2026

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
