1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant – Autism (ASD) & Behaviour
No Experience Required | Full Training Provided

Locations: Bristol, Bath & Weston-super-Mare
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Pay: £92–£100 per day

We are recruiting compassionate and reliable individuals to provide 1:1 support for pupils aged 5–16 with Autism (ASD) and behavioural needs in schools across Bristol, Bath, and Weston-super-Mare.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, helping pupils feel safe, supported, and confident in their learning.


The Role

  • Monday to Friday, term time only (typically 8:30am–3:30pm)
  • Long-term role with potential for permanent placement

You will support pupils with:

  • Autism (ASD)
  • Behavioural and emotional needs
  • Communication and social difficulties
  • Anxiety and related challenges

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support
  • Use structured approaches to support ASD
  • Manage and de-escalate behaviour positively
  • Work with teachers to adapt learning
  • Support EHCP targets and pupil wellbeing

  • Patient, calm, and resilient
  • Strong communicator with a proactive approach
  • Passionate about supporting young people

No experience required – full training provided
