Looking to step into education and secure your role for the next academic year? We’re recruiting Postgraduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across mainstream and specialist schools in Bristol, Bath, and Weston-super-Mare.

About the Role
Work with children and young people aged 5–16 who may have:

Additional learning needs
️ Speech and communication difficulties
Behavioural challenges
♿ Physical disabilities
Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

We’re looking for individuals who are adaptable, resilient, and genuinely motivated to support young people.


Role Details
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by school)
Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Opportunities to transition into long-term or permanent roles


Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group SEN support
• Work closely with teachers and wider school staff
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
• Support pupils in line with EHCPs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment


What We’re Looking For
• Postgraduate-level applicants (all subjects welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in SEN and education
• Experience in education, care, or coaching (desirable)
• A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach
