SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Bramhall)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Daily Rate: £89 – £100

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bramhall is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs from September 2025.

This role is perfect for someone with experience or a keen interest in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with EHCPs, autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with identified SEN

• Assist with academic, emotional, and social development across the school day

• Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised strategies

• Help maintain an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment

• Promote independence and self-confidence among pupils

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, or voluntary settings)

• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A genuine interest in education and inclusive practice

• Qualifications in SEN or education support are desirable but not essential
