SEN Teaching Assistant – Manchester (M40)
FULL TIME, TERM TIME, OPPORTUNITY!
ASAP START DATE
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School in Manchester, M40, searching for the right candidate to join the school team as a full time Teaching Assistant, with the skills to support a pupils with SEN Requirements. The right candidate for this role must have an awareness of special educational needs such as: Autism, Down-Syndrome, ADD/ADHD either 1:1 or within small groups. You will be guided by the school SENCO and class teacher to offer the right support to pupils.
You don’t necessarily require experience within schools for this role, but you must have some background in working with children/young people with SEN requirements. If you have previous experience working with children and/or young people with behavioural difficulties or SEND requirements, this role could suit you.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs and/or behavioural difficulties.
- Confidence to manage challenging behaviours with guidance from the school SENCO.
- Ability to support children with class work, including maths and literacy, KS1.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
