SEN Teacher Vacancies Available in Cardiff

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit fully established teachers with SEN experience to work closely with a KS2 class at our specialist client school based in Cardiff. The role requires keeping pupils engaged with the lessons and helping them achieve their learning aims and objectives. Planning and marking may also be asked of candidates. The students that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. Excellent behaviour management skills are essential for the role along with being able to control the room. Team Teach trained is advantageous for the role however not essential. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £85.00-£100.00 a day along with other additional benefits. The ideal candidate will:

• Have gained qualified teaching status
• Have experience working with SEN
• Are registered with the education workforce council
• Can confidently plan a daily routine for support staff within the classroom
• Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners
• Team teach trained is desirable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
