Job Role: Teaching Assistant
Pay: £90-£105
Contract: Full-time
Location: Birmingham B18
Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant to join our Birmingham Primary Schools in the B18 area. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable candidate that would be comfortable working with students with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons and materials for different learning needs
- Delivered targeted interventions to support academic, social and emotional development
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence
- Support pupils, confidence, wellbeing, and inclusion within the classroom
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children
- Patience, resilience and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
An enhanced DBS on the update service
This is a full-time, term-time only role (8:30-3:30pm) on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
