Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support schools across Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

About the role

Location: Southampton and surrounding areas

Start date: Immediate and ongoing roles available

Pay: Competitive hourly rates

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Working with pupils one-to-one or in small groups
• Assisting children with their learning, confidence and classroom participation
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from candidates with or without previous school experience. You might be:

• An experienced Teaching Assistant
• A graduate considering a career in teaching
• Someone with experience working with children (sports coaching, youth work, childcare, tutoring, etc.)

Requirements:

• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A desire to help children succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
