Job description
Teaching Personnel are recruiting passionate Specialist Education Teacher to work within specialist provisions, supporting pupils with additional, emotional, and behavioural needs. The Role
You’ll support pupils with SEN & SEMH, to include Autism, sensory and communication needs, mental health needs, and behavioural needs, through:
- Classroom‑based teaching
- 1:1 and small‑group support
- Day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term roles
- Creating and implementing individual learning plans for students
- Maintaining an awareness of safeguarding protocols at all times
You’ll help create calm, safe, and engaging environments using consistent behaviour strategies and flexible, creative teaching approaches.
About You
- Qualified Teacher with SEN/SEMH experience
- Calm, empathetic, and confident teaching across subjects
- Passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
- Strong communicator and team player
- Resilient and strong behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
