Job description

Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher with QTS looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference?

A highly regarded specialist school in the Yeovil area is seeking a passionate teacher to support pupils aged 4–18 with additional needs.

This well-resourced setting is known for its supportive staff team, personalised learning approach and strong focus on pupil wellbeing.

 

The Role

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress

  • Leading and guiding teaching assistants within the classroom

  • Creating a safe, structured and supportive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with therapists, support staff and families

 

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Minimum 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN

  • Passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learners

  • Experience in SLD/PMLD settings desirable

  • ECTs welcome to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
