Are you looking for long term work within Education?
Do you have a passion to work with children?
Have you had experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

A fantastic and rewarding opportunity has arisen at a well reputed Primary school in the heart of Colne. Teaching Personnel are working closely with the Head Teacher to get a clear understanding of the schools needs and requirements to ensure they get a suitable new member of staff to join their welcoming and successful team.
The Head Teacher has stressed he is looking for a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant with fantastic understanding of supporting children, particularly with Speech and Language difficulties. It is also crucial the candidate has strong behaviour management and can handle possible challenging behaviour. You must be driven, confident and be able to form good relationships with all staff and pupils.

Secure yourself a long term position, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The position is starting after the February half term working 1:1 with a young child in the Year 1 class with Speech and Language needs and is currently working below age expectations.
The school is located just outside the Colne Town Centre and its pupils are predominantly from white British families. This two form entry school has recently rapidly improved from 'Special Measures' to 'Good' due to a change in Headship.

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour day, Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between ÂŁ8.40-ÂŁ10.50 per hour.

If this seems like the ideal and suitable job for you then do not hesitate to call our office on 01772 842154 or feel free to email over an up to date CV
