SEN TA - KS1 - Liverpool

Here at Teaching Personnel we have had a request for a Teaching Assistant to work one to one with a pupil in Year 1 with Autism. The child has behavioural issues and needs some extra one to one support to ensure he makes the correct progress through school.

The school is located in Liverpool and is rated as 'Good' by Ofsted have all the necessary things in place to improve this rating sooner rather than later. The school have asked for someone with experience of supporting children with ADHD and ASC if possible and this would be desirable for this position.

The school is very supportive and the Teaching assistants have received training to effectively support pupils' learning, especially in phonics. Teaching assistants who support pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities are effective, particularly in the early years and Key Stage 1.

The school is very accessible from all around the city including a near by train station and bus station in the strand and has secure gated parking that is free for all staff. The school is located just off Queens Drive and is a well known in the local community with a nice relationship between parents and the school.
