Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for SEN Support Workers for a school in the Stockport area that caters for pupils aged 11-19 with Severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties, including Autism. The ideal candidate for this role, would be someone with:

• A patient and caring personality
• Experience of working with or being around SEN
• A dedication to helping young people grow and develop

The school is rated as 'Outstanding' by OFSTED and has achieved this through it's excellent academic and extra curricular curriculum. The classes have between 8-9 pupils in them where they can access a personalized learning plan with pupils with similar needs. This is the further supplemented with opportunities outside the classroom including music events, cycling and bowling. This combines to encourage a culture where self-esteem and respect for others are fostered, where diversity and achievements are celebrated, and where there are equal opportunities for all.
