SEN Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Doncaster Primary School who are part of a large Multi Academy Trust specialising in primary education across South Yorkshire who is looking to recruit a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant for a temporary to permanent role starting as soon as possible in the Doncaster area. Applicants will be experienced in supporting students with attachment and nurture and will ideally have experience of working on a 1 to 1 basis with students.

Ideally, Teaching Assistants would have additional training such as Team Teach which advantageous however not essential. If successful you may be required to undergo a Team Teach Course. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills such as ex forces, sports coaches and youth workers.

Our ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

  • 6 months experience supporting a student on a 1 to 1 basis
  • Team Teach Trained or willing to go on a course
  • Able to work within a team and has a positive outlook
  • Patient and nurturing mannerism with excellent behaviour management
