Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEN Experience)
Location: Bolton
Contract Type: Full-Time / Term-Time Only
Salary: £13.75-£14.50
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton is seeking to recruit a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to pupils.
  • Provide tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups to reinforce learning and promote development.
  • Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies.
