SEN Primary Teacher – Urmston (M41)

Are you a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse range of pupils in a primary SEN school?

Our client, based in Urmston, is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with mixed abilities, including those experiencing Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.
  • Implement strategies and interventions outlined in Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to support the progress and achievement of pupils with SEN.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide regular feedback to pupils, parents, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with support staff, external professionals, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the holistic development and well-being of pupils with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
  • Experience following EHCPs and implementing strategies for pupils with SEN.
  • Knowledge of best practices in SEN education, including differentiation and personalized learning approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel is required for payroll purposes.
