Or do you have experience of working with SEN pupils in a mainstream school?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an engaging Maths Teacher with QTS in September 2019. You will be working in a SEN specialist provision based in Belton, Norfolk.

Encouraging confidence and ensuring pupils have access to their education entitlement will be a key part of your role, you will be teaching Maths at GCSE level to pupils who display challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues (SEMH). This is a unique opportunity to obtain a rewarding role, where no two days will be the same.

As a specialist provision, class sizes are small with approx. 6-8 pupils. You will also have additional support staff, working 1:1 with pupils and in small groups. Per class, there will be one teacher and up to two teaching assistants.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Must be a qualified teacher with experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4.
  • Should either have experience of working with students with SEMH, communication difficulties or complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.
