Job description

A school in the Chichester area are looking to recruit a KS1 Teaching Assistant to start at the school after the Easter holidays.

You will be required to work on a full time basis to help support pupils in Year 2 with their learning. There are a couple of children in the class who have SEN so there will be times that you need to support them.

The chosen candidate will need to:

  • Have previous KS1 experience
  • Be confident in dealing with children with SEN/ Behaviour
  • Be available on a full time basis
  • Have a DBS on the Update Service( or be willing to apply for one)

The role is a maternity cover and will be required for a year.

There is the opportunity for a direct role to be offered for the right candidate.

The school is located just outside the Chichester and is in a rural location.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
