Teaching Personnel, a specialist recruitment agency in the education sector, require a Teaching Assistant/learning mentors for key stage 3 and 4 provision. The individual will work on a 1:1 basis with students between 8-16 who are unable to access mainstream education. The person must show a genuine interest in working with children to help them in their learning and development.

If you have had previous experience working with this age group or experience working with children with additional needs contact us today. Knowledge of the education sector and the primary national curriculum is desirable. All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Criminal Records check as part of our stringent vetting procedures. Having your own transport is essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
