SEN Teaching Assistants required for Primary School in Brent

  • £60+ per day, depending on experience
  • Full-time position, term time only
  • Access to training courses such as Team Teach, Prevent Duty

Do you have experience supporting children with a range of complex needs such as; Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, ADHD, Dyslexia and Social and Emotional Needs?

Are you looking for an exciting new role in a mainstream Primary School located in the borough of Brent? Look no further!

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants who have experience and the skills to provide support to young children who have special educational needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an ambitious and progressive Primary School located in Wembley.

About the role

This role entails working with children from ages 4-11 who have a range of complex needs and it consists of:

*Working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has a complex need such as; Autism, ADHD, Global Learning Delay etc

*Taking small groups of SEN children and providing intervention lessons in Numeracy and Literacy

*Liaising with the SENCO and tracking and monitoring the progress of the pupil

*Working alongside the classroom teacher

The ideal candidate:

- ASC Experience

- EYFS Experience

- Makaton Training

- Manual Handling

-A valid DBS or be willing to complete an application immediately

- Personal Care Experience

- A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application
