SEN Teaching Assistant required for lovely Primary School in Colindale

  • £55+ per day, depending on experience
  • Ofsted rated 'Good' School with excellent facilities
  • Full-time position, term time only

Our client school, whose core purpose is to develop lifelong learners and transform lives, are currently looking for an exceptional SEN teaching assistant who is able to hit the ground running.

About the school

This is a multicultural, three-form entry school with over 40 different languages spoken. The school has a fantastic new building with a range of excellent facilities such as: an indoor heated swimming pool, a large all weather play pitch, an enclosed netball/basketball court, tennis court, soft play room, physiotherapy rooms and a large hall with a stage and sound and lighting system.

Also, the school has provisions for children with physical disabilities and an assessment centre for pre school children with complex needs.

Location

The school is located in Colindale and about a 15 minute walk from Colindale station, which is on the Northern line.

The ideal candidate:

•At least 3 months experience providing support to children with Special Educational Needs such as; Autism, ADHD, Down-Syndrome, Global Learning Delay

•Psychology graduate preferred but not necessary

•Sound understanding of the national curriculum

•Charismatic, energetic and personable

•Able to use your own imitative

•A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or be willing to complete an application
