Therapist wanted for ‘Outstanding’ school in West Ealing

• Three Therapist roles to start in September 2017
• 1:1 therapeutic work with children aged 5-21

A rated ‘outstanding’ SEN school based in West Ealing are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Educational Psychologist to start in September 2017. The school provides for students aged 5 – 21 with statements of special educational needs, a majority of students are diagnosed with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties, ADHD, ODD, autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Specific Learning Difficulties.

The role is to start in September 2017 and will be an on-going long term role with high possibility of permanent placement.

Therapist Role:

• To start September 2017 (4th September2017)

• Hours will vary depending on the role

• Usual school hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4pm

• Supporting children and young adults 1:1 and in small groups

• Competitive pay rates with high prospects of permanent work

Roles Available:

• Speech and language Therapist (full time)

• Occupational Therapist (part-time)

• Educational Psychologist (part-time)

SEN School in Ealing;

• Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted

• Close to transport Links – West Ealing (GWR/Heathrow Connect), Ealing Broadway and Northfield Avenue (Central Line)

• Primary and Secondary Departments with pupils aged 5-21

Requirements:

• Must have relevant qualifications in Therapy

• Qualifications from oversees will be considered

• Must have experience working as a Therapist

• Must have experience/passion to support children/young adults

• Must be available to visit the school prior to September for interviews

• Must be able to provide two references and DBS document
