SEN Teachers

A specialist primary school in Bromley South East London is seeking 3 SEN Teachers for a full time- long term role. Two positions are to start ASAP to cover a term. The other is to start in January 2017 for a full term and potentially to continue longer term.

This primary SEN School is seeking pro-active, practical and resilient teachers to provide education for pupils with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The roles:

• 1X Fully Qualified Key Stage 2 Teacher – Covering PPA for 2 days and covering a class for 3 days, experience working with ASC, PMLD and complex needs is desirable. PECS is also helpful. To start ASAP.

• 1X Fully Qualified Early Years SEN Teacher – Covering class 5 days a week. Complex needs and foundation stage curriculum experience helpful.

• 1X Fully Qualified Key Stage 2 Teacher – Covering PPA for 2 days and covering a class for 3 days, experience working with ASC, PMLD and complex needs is desirable. PECS is also helpful. To start January.

The ideal candidate:

• Must have QTS and experience of teaching in the UK

• Must have PECS and Makaton training / experience

• Experience working with ASC and PMLD is essential

• You will need to be confident, organised and be able to lead a team

• Flexible and adaptive
