We at Teaching Personnel are working with an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ school in the Scunthorpe area who are committed to empowering students to be responsible & confident who are looking for an SEN Classroom Assistamt/Teaching Assistant.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a growing school that gives excellent possibilities for professional & career development as a classroom assistant/teaching assistant.

Do you have any of the following role requirements?

  • Experience in a classroom assistant or teaching assistant role?
  • Experience in SEN schools
  • Experienced in teaching a range of learning difficulties including autism spectrum disorders, profound & complex needs & language & communication difficulties
  • Committed to empowering students
  • Talented & inspirational classroom assistant or teaching assistant and you want to make a difference.
  • Any other relevant experience

The role itself offers the following:

  • The chance to make a difference to the lives of pupils.
  • You will be integral in encouraging and developing the students confidence & independence as well as helping to develop social, vocational & life skills
  • The age range ranges from 11-19 years of age.
  • Offers excellent opportunities to extend your continuous professional development working across and the ability to be able to develop your skills in special education.

About Teaching Personnel

  • We offer the chance to gain recognised qualifications such as safe guarding level 2, Team Teach, Moving & Handling, SEN  Diploma level 2 – 4 & Child Psychology as well as other professional qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
