Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with an outstanding specialist school in the heart of North Kensington seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team this September.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Develop and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs and EHCPs
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including SENCOs, therapists, and support staff
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Use behaviour management strategies that support pupil wellbeing and learning
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working with students with Autism (ASC), ideally in a specialist or SEN setting
- Deep understanding of Autism and related strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, or Makaton
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Empathetic, resilient, and passionate about making a difference
