Salary: £100 – £115 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

The role:
As a High Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Work 1:1 with students who require additional support.
- Demonstrating a proactive and empathetic approach to supporting SEN students.
- Reflecting on and improving your practice through self-evaluation and CPD.
Candidate specification:
- HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience and confidence leading learning)
- Experience working in a UK primary school setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to deliver lessons independently with professionalism and care
All applicants must be willing to undergo vetting checks as part of the school’s commitment to Safeguarding and Anti-bullying. This will include:
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
- Two recent references (covering the past 24 months)
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
