Teaching Personnel are currently working close with an SEN primary/second school that have fantastic opportunities for staff to work on a 1:1 basis. This will involve working closely with a student to help develop their SEMH well being and with their education and learning. Being an alternate provision, this will be an exciting chance to work in different education and try new methods, learning new skills.
The Job is full time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. Working during term times only. Looking at a start date of early 2019.
The successful candidate MUST have: experience working within a mainstream school, alternative provision or inclusion centre, a full, clean driving licence with access to a car daily and an NVQ Level 3 minimum.
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs/SEN (Autism, Emotional Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties or Learning Difficulties) or training in PECS/ Makaton/ BSL / Team Teach is desirable.
In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
