SEN 1:1 Support - Autumn Term

Year 3 Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEN Support

This Rochdale based school is looking for a Year 3 teaching assistant to support a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The position is on a short term basis and will be for the duration of the autumn term.

The school is a 2 form entry and has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted. Staff are supportive and the children are well behaved. The school have recently received the EHCP plan for the pupil, which will be explained in full by the SENCO. The pupil will require 1:1 support throughout lessons and sometimes during lunch breaks. School hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30pm.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following;

• Level 2 Qualification or higher
• 1-3 years' experience with SEN pupils
• Experience working with children at a KS2 level
• A 'Child Workforce' DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Supportive and understanding nature
• Able to commit on a full time basis
