I am currently working with a "Good" school in Sutton, the school specialists in both Primary and Secondary. The school which caters for Social and Emotional behavioural difficulties is looking to recruit several Teaching Assistants. The school is located in the Morden area, in an adapted secondary school building to which they are privileged to have their own on site large playing fields for sports and Gym.

The School offers a positive and diverse learning experience for all students that attend their educational facilities. As well as their large fields and gyms they also have a music room which is utilised as a therapeutic room to engage children with their creativity.

In this role you will be working in either Primary or Secondary, based on your experience and understanding of working with young children. You will be developing on your knowledge and awareness of different needs and following the advice of a Teacher and Senior Staff in the school. This post will require you to work 1:1 and in small groups helping pupils with tailored work set to their learning abilities. As a SEN Teaching Assistant supporting young children with SEMH, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly. Your skills and experience will demonstrate your ability to use your on initiative as well as your keen interest SEN to motivate and help shape the future of your students you will be working with.
