Behaviour Mentor needed on a 1:1 basis in Bracknell

  • Full Time role providing 1:1 support for a pupil with attachment disorder and SEMH difficulties.

A School based in Bracknell, Berkshire, are requiring a full-time a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with attachment disorder and SEMH difficulties. The school are looking to appoint a behaviour mentor to work 1:1 with the pupil to implement boundaries and to provide a good positive role model for the pupil.



The school are requiring someone to start as soon as possible to provide on-going behaviour and nurture support. The school would love to see anyone who;

•Previously supported behaviourally challenging students to engage in mainstream education.

•Actively encourages participation and attendance in school.

•Builds good and positive relationships to increase pupils' confidence & self-esteem.

•Is experienced in supporting students in class and on a 1:1 basis outside of the class when required.

•Is empathetic to the pupils requirements and can implement boundaries where necessary

The school places a great emphasis on the ability to work as part of a team and being adaptable to the pupil you are working with but also within the school as a whole. Good use of initiative and flexibility, along with good recent experience are required for this role.
