The city is easily walkable for visitors with good mobility - the main shopping and tourist area stretches from St Marks Shopping centre in the south up to the Cathedral Quarter. Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in a special school in Lincoln for pupils with moderate, severe or profound multiple learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders.The school is a co-educational provision with a 2-19 year old intake of children and young people. The pupils are predominantly from Lincoln and surrounding areas. Admission to the school occurs at all ages and at all points in the year. Pupils follow an exciting broad and balanced curriculum that recognises their special educational needs, seeks to maximize their potential and prepares them to meet the challenges of the adult world, including the promotion of independence and building on life skills.
