Qualified Secondary Teacher – Great Oakley, Corby

Supply Bank Education is working closely with a secondary school in Great Oakley, Corby, seeking a passionate and committed Qualified Secondary Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic educational setting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking to make a positive impact within secondary education while supporting pupils in achieving their full academic and personal potential.

The Role

As a Qualified Secondary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across the secondary curriculum while creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment. You will work collaboratively with the wider school team to support pupil progress, behaviour management, and overall student development.

This role is ideal for educators who are adaptable, motivated, and passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

Job Details

• Location: Great Oakley, Corby
• Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term
• Salary: Dependent on experience
• Start Date: September 2026
• UK applicants only – no sponsorship available

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the secondary curriculum
• Planning, preparing, and assessing student work in line with school expectations
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
• Supporting students’ academic progress and personal development
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Working collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external professionals where required
• Upholding safeguarding standards and ensuring compliance with school policies
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

What We’re Looking For

• UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for education and supporting young people
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across varying ability levels
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK (e.g. British Passport or BRP with valid share code)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
• Overseas Police Check if you have lived abroad
