Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Northamptonshire to appoint a passionate Teacher of Science for a September 2026 start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely smaller secondary school with a strong community feel, excellent leadership, and a highly supportive Science department. The school prides itself on nurturing both staff and students, creating a positive learning environment where teachers are genuinely valued.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach your specialism at GCSE level. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin your career in a supportive setting, the school is keen to hear from enthusiastic educators who are passionate about inspiring young people.
The role:
- Full-time Teacher of Science position
- September 2026 start
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
- Supportive and experienced department
- Excellent behaviour and strong pastoral support

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be committed to raising achievement and supporting students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
