Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Northamptonshire to recruit a dedicated Teacher of History for a September 2026 start.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a lovely smaller secondary school with a strong sense of community and a supportive senior leadership team. The Humanities department is well-established, collaborative, and passionate about delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a love for History.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin their teaching career within a nurturing and supportive environment.

The role:

  • Full-time Teacher of History position
  • September 2026 start
  • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
  • Supportive Humanities department
  • Positive school culture with excellent student behaviour
  • Permanent opportunity available for the right candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
  • Be passionate about Humanities education
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement
