Thinking about flexible work this September?

Secondary schools across Brighton and the surrounding areas are already preparing for the new academic year, and I'm currently looking to expand my network of reliable Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors.

Rather than recruiting for one specific vacancy, I'm building a trusted team of educators who enjoy flexible working and want to support local schools with both planned and last-minute cover.

How Supply Works

Every week is different.

Some bookings are arranged several days in advance, while others happen on the morning a school needs support.

Schools regularly begin contacting me from 6:30am, and occasionally even earlier, when unexpected absences arise.

That means there will be occasions where I'll be in touch from around 6:30am onwards to offer work.

If you're someone who's happy to take the occasional early morning call, supply can become an excellent source of regular, rewarding work.

Who I'm Looking For

I'm interested in dependable educators who communicate well and enjoy working with young people.

That includes:

• Qualified Teachers (QTS)
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
• Experienced Cover Supervisors
• Graduates considering teacher training
• Sports coaches, tutors and youth workers with classroom management experience

You don't need to be available every day.

Whether you can work one day a week or five, I'm happy to work around your availability. The important thing is that the days you provide are genuine, allowing me to confidently match you with schools that need support.

A Child Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required. If you don't currently hold one, I'll guide you through the application process.

We'll also require references covering a total of 24 months of employment history (where possible), alongside a full employment and education history as part of our safeguarding process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
